Ken's Take: Catch Up

So here's the thing. My left leg from the knee down hurts. Like a constant throbbing sort of pain that's just plain irritating. Where did this pain come from? I'll tell you where, from a chupacabra attack! That's not true, it's from riding my long board too much. Most likely I've developed a bit of tendinitis and will just stop riding my board around for a while. But then, once I'm better, I'll come back with renewed strength and power up, just like Pikachu! (Also, in actuality Pikachu was not that great in the games, just saying. I'd rather have a Charizard.)

Now then I've recently discovered several things over the past few days.

1. I can now make rice balls aka onigiri.
2. The next World of Warcraft Expansion comes out on December 7th.
3. Due to number 2, I will undoubtedly need to stock up on Tostidos pizza rolls, Red Vines, and Countrytme Lemonade, enough to last me through the winter.
4. Extensive longboarding on a sore muscle makes it stronger, on a sore tendon it makes it hurt worse.
5. Harvester Ants have the most potent venom of any insect, however they have a very small amount of it.

Now then, what this all means is one thing. Okay, maybe several things, but one of those things is that I need to find some ice cream bungeoppang. Taiyaki would also work I suppose.

WINTER IS COMING!!!

I know. It crept up on me kind of like that too. One storm and *poof* suddenly the temperature drops from near trip digits to around mid 80s. Another few weeks and when the sun sets it'll suck out all of its heat with it leaving nice low temperatures of ice bitterness. I am not a fan of triple digit temperatures, but the nights can be really nice sometimes. You can go outside in a T-shirt and shorts and be just fine. You can also eat ice-cream... kind of. Slurp is probably a better term. Point is, there are so many great things about summer! BBQs, swimming, and general awesomeness!

However, I can also be a fan of the cold too. Winter has its own little bundles of joy to offer during its prime time.
Perk 1: I can walk to my car without needing a bottle of water.
Perk 2: Bundling up can be kind of fun, plus if I end up making my breathing mask I feel like a ninja.
Perk 3: Hot Chocolate actually becomes acceptable.
Perk 4: Christmas, Halloween, New Years, and Valentines are all a part or very close to winter.
Perk 5: Snuggling. (Note: Any guy can sit next to a girl, but it takes a man to snuggle.)

There ya go, a few perks of winter. Maybe I should make a Winter To Do List? Maybe. We'll see. I wonder what I'd put on it? Hitting 85 on WoW for sure. Beat Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Finish my story maybe... maybe maybe... Until next time when the temperature will inevitably drop below my standards of comfort, enjoy the weather!
