Considering that until last semester I had never really gotten a good look at a roadrunner, I've seen an awful lot of them. One literally just ran past my leg.

On Blogging

So, an interesting conversation arose between my lil sister and I. That conversation was about, I would hope that you could guess although not everyone's born with awesome powers of deduction, blogging. She wants to one day be a freelance artist/writer. I personally think that's awesome and that she's be pretty damn good at it, she's just gotta get over the whole laziness thing. (Something that seems to run in the family mind you, like a hidden secret or like a small green man that threatens to kill himself if you do more work than you have to and spontaneously duplicates himself everytime a new member of the family arises.) I digress, so it became apparent to me that 1. I've actually managed to keep this thing up and running, and 2. I'm actually enjoying it. It's nice to have a place to store any sort of random thought that occurs within my mind. Thanks to my phone this blog has truly become a real journal, a captain's log of sorts. I'm excited. =)

Ninjas are hydrophobic. God made them hydrophobic. Then God put ninjas in Japan so that they were trapped and couldn't get loose to terrorize the world.
Dear Blog,
Today was my first day at school for the spring semester. I have a headache. This, surprisingly, is not indicative of how my day went. That is all.

Fortnight

So... A couple weeks back, after practicing with Mitch for worship during Katalyst, I participated in the construction of a fort in order to repel a zombie attack. On a scale of one to un-friggin-believable the event ranked at least a freakin awesome. Since then I have gotten sick at least once more and gotten better (My immune system has got to be in all sorts of chaos), finished my list of primers, celebrated the dawn of the new year, had coffee with a good friend, combined a chess set and velcro to make a sweet travel chess set, driven 6 hours to the mountains by San Diego for Catalyst, taught 2 classes, had great food, and ran sound. I did end up getting my XBOX live account hacked and as such lost a decent amount of money and my Gamertag, however it looks like I'll be getting it all back so we'll see. Overall, a pretty good amount of awesomeness minus the getting hacked part. Hopefully my week continues to be good.
