So... Just a thought. Sometimes, while walking around campus, I intentionally remove my glasses. What this does is remove my focus of the many different people and things that I walk past everyday. In doing this a few things happen. One, I am unable to view people in detail thus removing a certain sense of pre-judgement allowing me to simply view people as just that, people. Second, it causes me to appreciate all of the detail that I take for granted while wearing my glasses. Things such as the intricate beauty of a blade of grass, a falling leaf, of the flow of hair blowing in the breeze. Perception of beauty is a wonderful thing, thank God that I am able to enjoy such things.

A rough journal about the interesting points in my life that I feel like posting about. Topics range from the odd to the dramatic to the dream I had last night due to bad pizza.

Sunsets
If you live in Arizona, and it's been more than a week since you've looked at and appreciated the sunset, then go do it. Today, right now (assuming the sun is setting), or whenever you can next. No need to watch the giant ball of flame fade out of view as our little blue ball of H2O revolves around its axis, but for goodness sake take a glance at it. Appreciate the fact that you are able to experience so many colors. That you are sentient enough to be able to actually enjoy such a thing as beauty. And for all of those pessimists out there saying, "oh! Look at all that pollution!" I recommend we play a game called "Let's see how long you can stare at the sun until you're blind and no longer need to put up with such a 'horrible' site". Problem solved. Also, my Icecream matches the clouds. At times like these I like to pretend I'm a giant eating a bowl of clouds... It's quite fun really may I suggest trying it out.

Life is Depressing... Press the Esc key now...
So here's the thing. Ask yourself, when was the last time I fought off a dragon? How about with nothing but a sword and shield with a few of your buddies? Also, are you physically fit to fight a dragon right now? I'm not, but my character in WoW is. Now for those of you with complaints. It's my blog. 'Nugh said. Something that is a second thought to me, but not to outsiders is what a game, such as wow, offers to gamers. It's a way of escaping really. Like the very best parts of some of the books you read except you're a part of the action and are actively engaged instead of just viewing something from a distance, like a movie reel in your mind. Of course there's the whole, "but you use no imagination" thing, but honestly, it's much better than watching. TV in my opinion. I mean, when I say I play WoW like 10hours a week people get rather disturbed. However, I don't watch any TV. None at all, so really now the average American watches somewhere around 145 hours of TV a month, which is about 36 hours a week! Ask yourself before you judge, how much TV do you watch? Maybe I should be getting in good enough shape to fight a dragon should the opportunity arise? That second question I'm asking myself right about now.... Maybe I'll go for a run, or play DDR or something.

Test Post
So... This is my test post to see if I can post via e-mail. If so, then undoubtedly I will be posting quite a bit more.

Start-up
The entire reason I'm even writing this is because I am bored in the lab I work in waiting for something to thaw out. Perhaps, assuming I am able to remember that this damn thing even exists, I will continue writing in this particular blog. What appeals to me about it is the simplicity in which I can access it from my phone. Truth be told I will probably mostly only update this blog from my phone. School is about to start and I am quite excited, we'll see what comes of this year.
